Comprehensive data model relations
GC Joins enables to create comprehensive data model relations. You set new references that are directly in the Smallworld editor available.
Base for this relations can be geometric intersections and the connection of object attributes. In the cardinality is GC Joins very flexible, too (1:1, 1:M, M:N).
Examples
- Within NRM ALKIS is a spatial intersection between the object classes AX plot and AX buildings possible. This enables to see all buildings on a plot via the editor.
- Intersection of planning areas with included objects (for example power poles that are in need of rehabilitation.
- Displaying damages in the pipes via the editor, related to the pipeline sections.
