The Content Analyst is a tool from our partner Hydros Consult. It can be used flexible and creates expressive maps for specific questions within seconds – a long wanted feature in Smallworld GIS!
Procedures and elements for evaluation
Thanks to the integrated framework, you can allocate different evaluation procedures to Conent Analyst. Those have each a universally valid evaluation method. You can see the parameter values of the evaluation procedures as evaluation elements via the reference tables in the Smallworld explorer.
Selection criteria
The evaluation elements have selection criteria to use filters and stylechanges. Filters are for example query, report editor, style changes and extended data content. You can also combine multible filters. Furthermore you can use and filter the evaluation elements within reports. More in-depth going analysis are possible with the Content Inspector.
Reporting module
Content Analyst has a reporting module that is based on List&Label. It enables to create automated reports from Smallworld data like NRM Electricity or NRM LIS. These are for example
- Mortgage bonds
- Covering letters for owners
- Contracts
- Individual label printing
- Serial letters in larger form
- Dedication cards
- Parcel overview sheets
- Informations about property owners
The advantages about List & Label are for example an easy entry because of many assistants, an intuitive usage, a very high level of configurability and a preview function. Furthermore are the prestentation of complex designs, a pixel perfect positioning of elements and the live data processing parts of the huge range of functions.
Content Analyst & GC OSIRIS
You can choose thematic plans in the OSIRIS client and configure them individual. Furthermore you can create and use detailed reports – with one or more datasets. These theme plan properties are supported:
- CA-filter and style colorings
- Visibility of object classes
- Dynamic visibility
- Bookmarks
- Legend
